Dispatch

The desk that actually moves your freight. Dispatch is where a booked load becomes a truck with a driver on it, and where you call when something about that truck changes.

Carrier and broker MC-1765366

What dispatch does once a load is booked

Assigns the equipment, confirms the driver, sends you the rate confirmation with the role named on it, and then owns that shipment until it delivers. One desk holds the load from tender to proof of delivery, so you are not repeating the same background to a different person every time you call.

What to have ready when you call

The load or reference number if the shipment already exists, or the origin, destination and pickup window if it does not. If you are calling about a problem, the specific problem: the receiver turned the truck away, the appointment moved, the freight is not ready. Vague is slow. Specific gets a decision the same call.

Carriers calling dispatch

Drivers and carrier dispatchers use the same number. Check calls, detention, breakdowns and appointment changes all come here. If you are not onboarded with us yet, start at carrier requirements rather than calling for a load first.

Need a truck moved on today?

Call the desk. Same day dispatch depends on equipment being near your origin, and we would rather tell you honestly on the phone than take the load and hope.
