Freight services
Six services, six pages. Each one tells you what it is for, what equipment runs it, and exactly what we need from you before we can put a number on it.
Choosing between them
If you are not sure which one you need
Start with how much freight you have
Under about twelve pallets, look at less than truckload. Past that, a full truckload is usually cheaper as well as faster, because you stop paying for handling.
Then look at what the freight needs
If it has a temperature range, it is temperature controlled regardless of size. If it will not fit through a trailer door, it is flatbed. Those two decisions are made by the commodity, not by you.
Last, look at the clock
If being late costs more than the freight is worth, that is expedited, and it is priced per load rather than off a tariff.
| Fastest transit | Full truckload, or expedited when the deadline is tight |
|---|---|
| Lowest cost per pallet | Less than truckload, under about twelve pallets |
| Fewest touches | Full truckload. Loaded once, unloaded once |
| Set by the commodity | Temperature controlled and flatbed |
| Priced per load | Expedited and over dimensional flatbed |
Still not sure?
Tell us what you are shipping and we will tell you which service fits. It costs nothing to ask.
