Live tracking
Where is my freight. It is the question every shipment comes down to, so here is exactly how you get the answer from us and what we need from you to give it.
Three ways to get a position
Ask once, or have it sent to you
Call the desk
Fastest answer during desk hours. Have the load number ready and you get the current position, the last check call and the projected delivery in one conversation.
Scheduled updates
Set the cadence when the load is tendered and the updates come to you without asking. Every four hours as standard, hourly on time critical freight.
Live position feed
Where the carrier on your load runs a telematics system we can pass through, you get a continuous position rather than a check call. We tell you which you are getting at tender.
What a load number is and where to find it
Every shipment we handle gets a reference when it is booked, and it appears on the rate confirmation we send you. That number is the fastest way to a straight answer, because it pulls the whole file rather than a guess based on a lane and a date. If you cannot find it, the origin, destination and pickup date will get us there too, just slower.
Why we do not publish a self-serve map yet
A tracking page that shows a stale dot is worse than no tracking page. Position quality depends on the carrier under the load, and until every lane we run reports the same way, the honest answer is a desk that knows where your freight is rather than a widget that sometimes does. When that changes, this page changes with it.
| Best | Load or reference number from the rate confirmation |
|---|---|
| Works | Origin, destination and pickup date |
| Also useful | PO or BOL number if your receiver uses one |
| For carriers | Trip number and driver name |
| Response | Position, last check call, projected delivery |
