Expedited and time critical

For the shipments where being late costs more than the freight. Straight through transit, and team drivers when the clock does not allow a ten hour break.

Placed with a vetted carrier

When this is the right call

  • A production line, a vessel cut off, or a job site is waiting on the freight
  • The transit time is shorter than a single driver can legally run
  • A previous carrier has fallen over and you need the load recovered quickly

We will tell you when it cannot be done

Expedited is the service where brokers are most tempted to say yes and work it out later. That is how a shipper finds out at 4pm that the truck was never covered. If your deadline is not physically achievable, we would rather lose the load than take it and hope.

What urgency actually costs

Expedited rates are not a surcharge on a normal rate. You are paying for a truck to deadhead to you, for a second driver, or for a driver to give up a better paying load. The number will be higher than you want and we will explain what is in it.

What we need to quote it

Give us these and the rate comes back accurate

A vague tender produces a vague number that changes later. These are the details that actually move the price.

The actual deadlineNot a comfortable one. The real must deliver by time and what happens if it slips.
Weight and sizeSmall and urgent may move on a sprinter or a hot shot rather than a tractor trailer.
Contacts at both endsSomeone reachable outside office hours at pickup and delivery.
Whether team service is requiredOver roughly 600 miles against a next day deadline, it usually is.

Have a lane in mind?

Send us the details and we will come back with a rate and tell you whether we are hauling it or placing it.
